## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: PILOT WAS CONDUCTING TOUCH AND GO LANDINGS AT PRINEVILLE AIRPORT, OR. WHILE APPLYING POWER FOR TAKE OFF, THE NOSE GEAR COLLAPSED CAUSING THE AIRCRAFT TO SETTLE ONTO THE RUNWAY. AS THE AIRCRAFT SETTLED TO THE RUNWAY, THE PROPELLER CONTACTED THE SURFACE AND THE AIRCRAFT SKIDDED OFF THE LEFT SIDE OF THE RUNWAY INTO THE GRAVEL. THIS RESULTED IN MINOR DAMAGE IN THE FORM OF A BENT PROPELLER, BROKEN ENGINE MOUNT, AND SCRAPED AND DENTED COWLING AND WING TIP.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
