(-23) THE PILOT DEPARTED LYH AT ABOUT 09:30 AM AND DUE TO WEATHER ENROUTE, HE HAD TO DEVIATE FROM HIS INTENDED FLIGHT PATH. THE ENGINE QUIT AND THE PILOT LANDED IN AN APPLE ORCHARD ABOUT 4 MILES FROM THE INTENDED AIRPORT, 34A. ## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.
