## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: WHILE ATTEMPTING TO LAND ON RUNWAY 19 AT TETERBORO AIRPORT, MR. MYERS FAILED TO HAVE THE GEAR IN DOWN AND LOCKED POSITION. THE AIRCRAFT LANDED WITH GEAR UP CAUSING MINOR DAMAGE. WEATHER WAS NOT A FACTOR IN THIS INCIDENT. VERY CLEAR PROP STRIKES ON THE RUNWAY INDICATE THAT THE GEAR WAS NOT DOWN WHEN THE AIRCRAFT CONTACTED THE RUNWAY. FOR A DISTANCE OF 37 FT. ONLY THE RIGHT PROP STRUCK THE RUNWAY. WHILE DOING SO, THE PROP STRIKES DID NOT WIDEN WHICH INDICATED THAT THE PROP WAS STRIKING THE RUNWAY WHILE THE ENGINE REMAINED ABOUT THE SAME DISTANCE FROM THE RUNWAY. WITH BOTH ENGINES PRODUCING POWER, THIS COULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED IF THE NOSE GEAR FAILED FIRST AS MR. MYERS HAS STATED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
