## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: ON FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 13, 1998 AT 1126 EST, A BA JETSTREAM 3201, N481UE, FLIGHT 6384, OPERATED BY ATLANTIC COAST AIRLINES, AFTER TAKEOFF, RETURNED TO ROCHESTER INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, ROCHESTER, NEW YORK WITH AN UNSAFE PASSENGER DOOR INDICATION. A LANDING WAS ACCOMPLISHED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. THERE WERE NO INJURIES. THE MECHANIC FOUND THE PASSENGER DOOR MICRO SWITCH OUT OF ADJUSTMENT AND ADJUSTED IT. AN OPERATIONAL CHECK WAS SATISFACTORY AND THE AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO SERVICE. THIS INCIDENT IS CONSIDERED CLOSED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
