## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

2 SONERIS COLLIDED IN FLIGHT. OTHER WAS N 43804. BOTH FELL AND WERE DESTRTOYED. (.4)A WITNESS ON THE GROUND OBSERVED THE TWO AIRPLANES APPROACHING HIS FARM FROM THE NORTHEAST. HE SAID THAT THE TWO AIRPLANES WERE JUST ABOUT OVERHEAD WHEN THE AIRPLANE ON THE RIGHT [NORTH], THE ONE SLIGHTLY AFT OF THE OTHER AIRPLANE, DRIFTED INTO THE OTHER AIRPLANE. THE WITNESS SAID THAT HE HEARD A 'POP,' AND THEN WATCHED THE AIRPLANES COME DOWN. THE WITNESS LOST SIGHT OF BOTH AIRPLANES AS THEY WENT BEHIND A LINE OF TREES RUNNING ALONG THE SOUTH SIDE OF HIS FARMHOUSE. EXAMINATION OF THE WRECKAGE REVEALED NO ANOMALIES. (-23) TWO AIRCRAFT COLLIDED DURING CRUISE FLIGHT.

## Other reports on N38NL (1)

Matched to the same aircraft by N-number and date.

- [Incident 19910818047959I](https://openairdocs.org/incident/19910818047959I), Aug 18, 1991: Amtrmo SONERAI2 (N38NL), Caledonia, MN, Minor damage. Pilot stated he taxied across grass to avoid traffic. Aircraft hit runway light.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
