## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON FEBRUARY 27, 1998, AT 1005 MST, SOUTHWEST AIRLINES FLIGHT (SWAA) 1787, INBOUND TO EL PASO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT IN EL PASO, TX. ON A VISUAL APPROACH, ENCOUNTERED MODERATE TURBULENCE. A FLIGHT ATTENDANT WAS INJURED DUE TO THAT TURBULENCE AND HAD BE REMOVED FROM THE FLIGHT UPON ARRIVAL IN EL PASO. THE FLIGHT ATTENDANT WAS CHECKED BY MEDICAL PERSONNEL THEN WAS TAKEN TO HER DOCTOR IN EL PASO BY HER HUSBAND. THE DOCTOR REPORTEDLY FOUND SHE HAD RECEIVED A MILD CONCUSSION. AS OF THIS REPORT, SHE HAS BEEN RETURNED TO DUTY BY SWAA.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
