## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: AS THE AIRCRAFT EXITED RW 02L AT THE END, STEERING AND BRAKING CONTROL WAS LOST AS AIRCRAFT PASSED OVER THE PAINTED R/W END MARKINGS AND THE NOSE WHEEL LEFT THE TAXIWAY. SKIDOMETER READINGS TAKEN IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE INCIDENT RANGED FROM HIGH 60'S ON UNPAINTED TO MID 20'S ON PAINTED RUNWAY SURFACES. THE PAINT USED FOR RUNWAY END MARKINGS BECOMES EXTREMELY SLIPPERY WHEN WET AND CAUSES A LOSS OF STEERING CONTROL AND BRAKING EVEN AT VERY LOW SPEEDS. ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
