## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB ANC98LA027](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/ANC98LA027), Mar 21, 1998: Cessna A185F (N9620Q), Homer, AK, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot's failure to maintain directional control. Factors in the accident are the sheared valve stem/deflation of the tire, and subsequent fracturing of the associated wheel.

## Other reports on N9620Q (1)

Matched to the same aircraft by N-number and date.

- [Incident 19910310012259I](https://openairdocs.org/incident/19910310012259I), Mar 10, 1991: Cessna A185F (N9620Q), Homer, AK, Minor damage. Engine quit in flight. No fuel flow. Forced landing on snow covered ground. Suspects ice lenses in fuel tank.

Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
