## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: ON MARCH 21, 1998, DURING A FLIGHT TO ROCK SOUND, ELEUTHERA, BAHAMAS, THE PILOT STATED THAT HE HAD A TOTAL ELECTRICAL FAILURE AND HAD TO USE THE EMERGENCY PROCEDURES TO MANUALLY EXTEND THE LANDING GEAR. HE THEN MADE A NO FLAP LANDING. AT ABOUT 100 FT. INTO THE ROLL OUT THE RIGHT MAIN GEAR COLLAPSED. AFTER THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO A STOP HE EVACUATED THE PASSENGERS WITHOUT INJURY. AFTER REPLACING BOTH PROPELLERS, AND RECHARGING THE BATTERY, THE LANDING GEARS WERE SECURED AND THE AIRCRAFT WAS FERRIED TO FT. LAUDERDALE, FLORIDA, FOR REPAIRS WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. THE PILOT DID NOT COMPLETELY EXTEND THE LANDING GEAR TO THE DOWN AND LOCK POSITION. THIS CAUSED THE LANDING GEAR TO COLLAPSE WHEN THE AIRCRAFT WEIGHT WAS FULLY APPLIED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
