## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: N616V CALLED MEDFORD TOWER FOR LANDING. MEDFORD TOWER ISSUED INSTRUCTIONS, BUT AIRCRAFT DID NOT RESPOND. AIRCRAFT WAS GIVEN GREEN LIGHT TO LAND. AIRCRAFT LANDED ON RUNWAY 32 AND BEGAN TO WOBBLE; THEN THE GEAR COLLAPSED. I INTERVIEWED THE PILOT, WHO STATES A COMPLETE ELECTRICAL POWER LOSS OCCURRED. I INSPECTED THE AIRCRAFT AND FOUND THE BATTERY DEAD AND THE DC GENERATOR BELT EXTREMELY LOOSE. THE PILOT FAILED TO MANUALLY TURN THE LANDING GEAR HANDLE TO THE DOWN AND LOCKED POSITION. ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
