## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(.4)THE PILOT WAS ON THE TAKEOFF ROLL AND HAD STARTED THE ROTATION FOR TAKEOFF WHEN HE OBSERVED A DEER CROSSING FROM RIGHT TO LEFT. HE APPLIED LEFT RUDDER AND AILERON IN ORDER TO AVOID A COLLISION. THE MAIN GEAR COLLIDED WITH A DIRT MOUND (BERM) AND THE AIRPLANE NOSED OVER INVERTED OFF THE SIDE OF THE RUNWAY. (-23)INVESTIGATING THE SCENE OF THE ACCIDENT, TALKING TO THE PILOT AND A EYE WITNESS, IT APPREAS THAT THE STORIES OR/ACCOUNTS TO WHAT HAPPEN TO CAUSE THE ACCIDENT ARE TRUE. ALSO, NOTHING TO CONTRADICT THE PILOT'S STATMENT WAS FOUND. PILOT SWERVED TO AVOID A DEER STRUCK DIRT MOUND AND FLIPPED THE AIRCRAFT DURING TAKEOFF.
