## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: AIR CARRIER AMWA, FLIGHT 5694, WHILE ENROUTE TO MCI, HAD ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS AND THE LANDING GEAR HAD TO BE MANUALLY EXTENDED. THE PILOT DECLARED AN EMERGENCY. THE AIRCRAFT LANDED AT MCI WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. EMERGENCY EQUIPMENT WAS ON STANDBY. MAINTENANCE CONFIRMED FAILURE AND REPLACED THE RIGHT GENERATOR CONTROL UNIT AND THE DC POWER SUPPLY PANEL, PER MAINTENANCE MANUAL 24-02-02. THIS INCIDENT (CE98IGO0053) IS CONSIDERED CLOSED WITH THE SUBMITTAL OF THIS REPORT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
