NARRATIVE: PILOT UNABLE TO MAINTAIN DIRECTIONAL CONTROL UPON TOUCHDOWN. ACFT DEPARTED RUNWAY TO THE LEFT. ONCE IN THE SOFT GROUND THE NLG COLLAPSED - PROPS STRUCK THE GROUND. ACFT CAME TO A SUDDEN STOP. PILOT +PAX EXITED - NO INJURIES. LOSS OF CONTROL DUE TO DISCONNECTED NLG SCISSORS FOR TOWING PURPOSE AT HILTON HEAD ISLAND AIRPORT.
