## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: ON APRIL 23, 1998, AT APPROXIMATELY 1140 MDT, MR. JAMES J. JORDEN, HOLDER OF ATP CERTIFICATE #1714109, UPON LANDING IN RATON, NM, EXPERIENCE A LEFT MAIN LANDING GEAR FAILURE IN ABE-200, N130PA. THE FAILURE OF THE LEFT MAIN GEAR WAS DUE TO THE LOSS OF THE LOWER TRUNNION BOLT. THE COTTERPIN AND NUT ASSEMBLY WERE NOT RECOVERED. NO INJURIES.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
