## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: THIS INCIDENT OCCURRED DURING A DUAL INSTRUCTION FLIGHT. THE STUDENT AND INSTRUCTOR WERE CONDUCTING TOUCH AND GO LANDINGS ON RUNWAY 35 WITH A 13 KNOT CROSSWIND FROM THE RIGHT. THE AIRCRAFT HAD LANDED, THE POWER WAS AT IDLE AND FLAPS WERE DOWN WHEN THE RIGHT WING RAISED, CAUSING THE LEFT WING TIP AND PROP TO STRIKE THE GROUND. THE INSTRUCTOR STATED THAT THE AILERONS WERE PROPERLY POSITIONED FOR THE CROSSWIND. THE STUDENT WAS MANIPULATING THE CONTROLS AND THE INSTRUCTOR ATTEMPTED TO REGAIN AIRCRAFT CONTROL BUT WAS UNSUCCESSFUL.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
