## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PLEASURE FLIGHT ORIGINATED FROM OH17, NAPOLEAN, OH, ON JUNE 22, 1998, AT APPROXIMATLEY 1930EDT, TO DFI, DEFIANCE, OH, AND RETURNING TO OH17. THE PILOT STATED THAT UPON APPROACHING OH17, PREPARING TO ENTER DOWNWIND FOR RUNWAY 28, HE BEGAN HIS LANDING PREPARATIONS. DUE TO ANOTHER APPROACHING AIRCRAFT, HE YIELDED, EXECUTING A RIGHT 360 DEGREE TURN. AT THE SAME TIME HIS PASSENGER COMPLAINED OF FEELING ILL. HE CONTINUED HIS LEFT HAND PATTERN APPROACH. ON FINAL APPROACH HE NOTICED A STALL WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATION AND AUDIBLE WARNING. DURING FLARE, THE PROPELLOR CONTACTED THE RUNWAY, AIRCRAFT LANDED WITH GEAR RETRACTED AND SLID APPROXIMATELY 800FT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
