## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-5)DURING AN OPERATIONS CHECK FLIGHT, FOLLOWING THE MAIN TRANSMISSION CHANGE, THE PILOT NOTICED THAT THE TRANSMISSION OIL PRESSURE LIGHT HAD ILLUMINATED AND THE GAUGE WAS PASSING DOWN THROUGH THE LOW RED LINE. THE PILOT THEN MADE AN EMERGENCY LANDING/SHUT DOWN. MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL DISCOVERED THAT THE REASON FOR THE OIL PRESSURE LIGHT ILLUMINATION AND THE GAUGE PASSING DOWN THROUGH RED LINE WAS BECAUSE THE TRANSMISSION OIL FILTER BOWL RETAINER STUD HAD PULLED OUT OF THE HOUSING ASSEMBLY.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
