THE STUDENT PILOT, ON HER FIRST SOLO CROSS-COUNTRY FLIGHT, MADE A HARD LANDING ON RUNWAY 02 AT CENTRAL ILLIONIS REGIONAL AIRPORT, BLOOMINGTON, IL. THE AIRCRAFT BOUNCED SEVERAL TIMES AND THEN CAME TO REST OFF OF THE RIGHT SIDE OF RUNWAY 02. THE STUDENT PILOT, THE SOLO OCCUPANT, WAS NOT INJURED. THE AIRCRAFT RECEIVED MINOR DAMAGE TO THE PROPELLER AND THE NOSE LANDING GEAR TIRE WAS BLOWN. THIS INCIDENT IS CLOSED WITH THIS REPORT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
