## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE AIRCRAFT LANDED WITH THE LANDING GEAR NOT IN THE DOWN AND LOCKED POSTION. A CMH FSDO MAINTENANCE INSPECTION OF THE LANDING GEAR SYSTEM COULD NOT DUPLICATE ANY PROBLEMS. THE LANDING GEAR SAFE INDICATOR, GREEN LIGHT, FUNCTIONED PROPERLY DURING THE TEST. THE LANDING GEAR ACTUATING MOTOR FUNCTIONED PROPERLY DURING THE TEST. DUE TO DAMAGE, THE LANDING GEAR WAS NOT CONNECTED TO THE ACTUATING SYSTEM. HOWEVER, THE GEAR WAS TESTED BY MANUALLY SWINGING THEM FROM THE DOWN AND LOCKED POSITION. NO BINDING WAS NOTICED. THE LANDING GEAR WARNING HORN FUNCTIONED PROPERLY DURING THE TEST.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
