AT 2224CTC, (1724L) 07/22/98, GLBA FLIGHT 5918 (BE19) STRUCK A GOOSE ON DEPARTURE FROM MEIGS FIELD TO SPRINGFIELD. THE PILOT INDICATED THAT HE NEVER HEARD OR FELT ANYTHING NEITHER DID HIS F/O. AFTER LANDING IN SPRINGFIELD HIS INSPECTION OF THE AIRCRAFT REVEALED NO DAMAGE. SEE ATTACHED BIRD STRIKE REPORT FROM POI GLBA. NO FURTHER ACTION REQUIRED.
