## Narrative

(-5)MR. INGEN HONSZ RENTED N733PX A CESSNA 172 FROM FON DU LAC SKY PORT. HE AND THREE PASSENGERS WITH FULL FUEL TANKS WERE ENROUTE TO STURGEON BAY, WHEN HE ATTEMPTED TO PERFORM A TOUCH AND GO A MANITOWOC AIRPORT ON RWY 07, WHERE THE WINDS WERE REPORTED TO BE FROM 010 TO 040 DEGREES AT 14 TO 18 MPH. WHILE IN THE FLARE THE AIRCRAFT DROPPED TO THE RUNWAY WITH NO NORMAL INDICATION OF A STALL DETECTED BY THE PILOT. THE AIRCRAFT CONTACTED THE RUNWAY HARD NOSE WHEEL FIRST, FOLLOWED BY THE MAIN LANDING GEAR. IT WAS AT THIS POINT THAT THE AIRCRAFT BOUNCED BACK INTO THE AIR. THE PILOT APPLIED FULL POWER AND CONTINUED THE FLIGHT TO STURGEON BAY, WHERE A NORMAL LANDING WAS MADE. AFTER A PERIOD OF TIME ON THE GROUND IN STURGEON BAY,THE PILOT RETURNED TO THE AIRCRAFT AND PERFORMED A PREFLIGHT, FINDING NOTHING UNUSUAL. HE THEN FLEW THE AIRCRAFT TO FON DU LAC WHERE IT WAS PLACED IN THE HANGAR. THE FOLLOWING MORNING DAMAGE TO THE PROPELLER AND FIREWALL WERE DISCOVERED AND THE EVENT WAS REPORTED TO THE MILWAUKEE FSDO, GL13 BY MR. HONSZ.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
