## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-5) ON 9/23/98 AT ABOUT 9:40PM LOCAL TIME, AS0-COM CENTER ADVISED THAT N620H, A PA-23-250 AZTEC ON FLIGHT FROM ST. THOMAS, USVI, REPORTED THAT HE WILL BE LANDING AT THE ISLA GRANDE AIRPORT WITH LANDING GEAR INDICATION PROBLEMS. INVESTIGATION REVEALED THAT UPON LANDING N620H RIGHT MAIN GEAR COLLAPSED. AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGE. MAINTENANCE INVESTIGATION DETERMINED THAT THE PROBABLE FAILURE WAS INTERNAL LEAK ON THE HYDRAULIC POWER PACK. INVESTIGATION DOES NOT INDICATED ANY OTHER POSSIBLE CAUSE. NO FURTHER ACTION REQUIRED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
