## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AIRCRAFT WAS ON LONG FINAL TO LAND AT GREELEY, COLORADO WHEN THE ENGINE QUIT. PILOT ATTEMPTED RESTART, BUT WAS UNSECCESSFUL. EMERGENCY LANDING WAS MADE WITH MINOR DAMAGE. INVESTIGATION REVEALED THAT THERE WERE 5 GALLONS OF FUEL LEFT IN THE AIRPLANE. UNUSABLE FUEL IS 3 GALLONS. NO ENGINE PROBLEMS WERE FOUND. THREE UPPER SNAPS FROM FUEL BLADDER ON LEFT WING WERE FOUND UNSNAPPED. THESE WERE SNAPPED AND AIRCRAFT SERVICED WITH FUEL. AIRCRAFT FLOWN BACK TO GREELEY.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
