## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-5)N176FB, CE-501SP, OPERATED BY FOUNTAIN POWERBOATS, INC., WASHINGTON, NORTH CAROLINA, DEPARTED THE (ISO) KINTON MUNICIPAL AIRPORT ON AN IFR FLIGHT PLAN FINAL DESTINATION (KEWR) NEWARK INTL AIRPORT; 1 CREW AND 8 PASSENGERS. ARRIVAL WAS ROBBINSVILLE; ARRIVAL WAS SEQUENCED #15 FOR VECTORS FOR ILS (VISUAL) TO RUNWAY 22L. DURING THE VECTORS, ATP PILOT CARSON, REPORTED TO ATC THAT N176FB WAS INTO THE 45 MINUTE FUEL RESERVE. ATC IMMEDIATELY RESEQUENCED N176FB TO #3 AND WAS ON THE GROUND WITHIN 10 MINUTES OF RESERVE FUEL NOTIFICATION. REPORTING INSPECTOR INTERVIEWED PILOT CARSON VIA TELEPHONE AND HE STATED THAT HE DID IN FACT NOTIFY ATC ABOUT FUEL RESERVE, BUT DID NOT DECLARE FUEL EMERGENCY, AND HAD AT LEAST 30 MINUTES OF FUEL ON LANDING AT EWR.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
