## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-5) THE AIRCRAFT DEPARTED CASA DE AERO ENROUTE TO LAKE IN THE HILLS (3CK). UPON LANDING AT 3CK THE PROPELLER CONTACTED THE RUNWAY. WITNESSES STATED THAT THE LANDING GEAR WAS NOT EXTENDED UPON INITIAL CONTACT. WHEN THE AIRCRAFT BOUNCED BACK INTO THE AIR, THE LANDING GEAR STARTED TO EXTEND. WHEN THE AIRCRAFT CONTACTED THE RUNWAY AGAIN, ONLY THE RIGHT MAIN WAS DOWN AND LOCKED. THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO REST ON THE SIDE OF RUNWAY 26. THE PROPELLER HAD DEPARTED THE AIRCRAFT. AN EXAMINATION OF THE AIRCRAFT REVEALED NO PREVIOUS DISCREPANCIES. ALL INSPECTIONS ARE WITHIN TIME LIMITS.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
