## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON CLIMB OUT FROM MDT TO LWB AT APPROXIMATELY 1510 LOCAL, WITH NORMAL ROUTING, WE WERE CLIMBING TO FL 240 WHEN BOB (SIC) TOLD ME THE CABIN WAS 6000FT AND CLIMBING. SHORTLY AFTER HE TOLD ME THE CABIN WAS AT 8000FT. I CALLED WASHINGTON CENTER AND STATED OUR PROBLEM AND ASKED FOR LOWER. I WAS CLEARED TO 1400FT. DURING DESCENT WE NOTICED BOB (SIC) WAS LOOKING AT THE DIFFERENTIAL GUAGE AND NOT THE CABIN ALTITUDE. THERE WAS NO PROBLEM WITH THE A/C. (PIC STATEMENT)

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
