## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-5)PILOT REPORTED THAT DURING A STATIC LINE JUMP WITH TWO JUMPERS IT WAS NOTED THAT WHILE THE FIRST STUDENT WAS ON THE STEP, ABOUT TO JUMP, THE JUMP MASTER SAW THAT THE STATIC LINE WAS WRAPPED AROUND THE STUDENTS ARM. DURING THE PROCESS OF GETTING THE JUMPER BACK INTO THE AIRCRAFT, THE MAIN CHUTE DEPLOYED. THE MAIN CHUTE WAS "CUT AWAY" AND IT STRUCK THE RIGHT HORIZ. STABILIZER AND ELEV. CAUSING DAMAGE TO THE STAB TIP AND ELEVATOR COUNTOR WEIGHT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
