## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

DURING TAKEOFF ROLL THE PILOT TOOK CONTROL FROM THE CO-PILOT AS RUDDER INPUTS WERE APARANTLY RESERVED. INVESTIGATION BY MAINTENANCE DETERMINED THAT THE RUDDER-CONTROL RODS HAD BEEN REVERSES AT THE UPPER INPUT LEVERS ON THE C0-PILOT SIDE. THE PILOT CONTROLS WERE NORMAL. RECORD REVIEW TO DATE HAS NOT IDENTIFIED A MAINTENANCE ACTIVITY WHICH WOULD HAVE DISCONNECTED THE RUDDER CONTROLS. THESE RECORDS ARE FROM AN OPERATOR WHICH IS NO LONGER IN BUSINESS. THE CURRENT OPERATOR HAS MADE CHANGES TO JOB CARDS TO ADDRES THIS SITUATION. ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
