## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-5)ON OCTOBER 8, 1998, AT ABOUT 0830 HRS MDT A CE-337 WAS OBSERVED AT APPROXIMATELY 250-400 MGL. AT THIS TIME A BALLOON WAS OBSERVED ON NORTH COORS DEPARTING FROM NEAR HOME DEPOT. AT THIS TIME IT APPEARED THAT THE CE-337 CROSSED OVER THE LAUNCHING BALLOON. THE CE-337 WAS TRAVELING FROM THE NORTH OT THE SOUTH ALONG THE RIVER AND THEN TOWARDS SUNPORT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
