## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-5)N6076E DEPARTED (UES) ON 10/14/98 AT 12:20 CDT, ON A INSTRUMENT TRAINING FLIGHT. THE PILOTS CLAIM THAT THEY HEARD A LOUD CLUNK ON DEPARTURE. HE THEN FLEW TO WEST BENA AIRPORT (ETB) FOR ONE IFR APPROACH. FROM ETB THEY FLEW TO MILWAUKEE TIMMERMAN FIELD (MWC) FOR A VOR 15L INSTRUMENT APPROACH WITH A PLANNED FULL STOP LANDING. THE LANDING WAS GOOD UNTIL THE NOSE WHEEL TOUCHED DOWN AND THE NOSE GEAR COLLAPSED CAUSING THE PROPELLER TO STRIKE THE GROUND.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
