## Narrative

(-5)ON TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 10, 1998, AT 2258 EST, A BOEING 737 AIRCRAFT, REGISTERED TO USAIRWAYS, INC., OPERATING AS FLIGHT 852, STRUCK A DEER WITH THE LEFT ENGINE DURING ROLLOUT FROM A LANDING ON RUNWAY 22 AT ROCHESTER MONROE COUNTY AIRPORT, ROCHESTER, NY. VISUAL METEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS PREVAILED AND THE AIRCRAFT WAS ON AN IFR FLIGHT PLAN. THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGE AND NO PERSON WAS INJURED. THIS INCIDENT IS CONSIDERED CLOSED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
