## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ACFT LEFT BRAKE LOCKED DURING LANDING CAUSING ACFT TO VEER OFF THE RUNWAY STRIKING A WOOD BOX WHICH RUPTURED FUEL TANK. SUBSEQUENT FIRE DESTROYED ACFT. THE PILOT REPPRTED THAT AFTER LANDING HE APPLIED THE BRAKES IN A NORMAL MANNER AND THE LEFT BRAKE LOCKED CAUSING THE AIRCRAFT TO SWERVE TO THE LEFT AND THE AIRCRAFT DEPARTED THE RUNWAY. THE AIRCRAFT WAS REMOVED BACK TO THE HANGER TIE DOWN AREA, IT WAS LEFT OUT SIDE OF THE HANGER DUE TO A LEAKING LEFT WING TANK. ABOUT ONE HOUR LATER THE AIRCRAFT CAUGHT FIRE AND WAS DESTROYED. THIS INVESTIGATION IS CONSIDERED CLOSED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
