## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-5)ON DECEMBER 9, 1998, TRANS STATES AIRLINES, FLIGHT NUMBER 7035, A JET STREAM 32/A WAS ENROUTE FORM SAINT LOUIS TO COLUMBIA WHEN THE PILOT DECLARED AN EMERGENCY DUE TO A NEGATIVE GEAR INDICATION. WHEN THE LANDING GEAR WAS SELECTED DOWN, BOTH HYDRAULIC PRESSURE GAUGES WENT TO ZERO AND THE GEAR DIDN'T COME DOWN. THE FLIGHTCREW HAND PUMPED THE GEAR DOWN AND THE AIRCRAFT WAS LANDED AT COLUMBIA AIRPORT. FIRE/RESCUE CREWS WERE DISPATCHED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. TRANS STATE AIRLINES, MAINTENANCE CREW DISCOVERED A FAILED HYDRAULIC LINE AT THE LEFT HYDRAULIC PUMP AND THE LINE WAS REPLACED. THE AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE. WITH THIS REPORT, INCIDENT NUMBER CE99IAC0008 IS CONSIDERED CLOSED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
