## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON SATURDAY, DECEMBER 20, 1998, AT APPROXIMATELY 1800 MST, N728TA, A HAWKER MODEL 800XP, SLID OFF OF RUNWAY 34R AFTER LANDING. THE AIRCRAFT WAS NOT DAMAGED AND NONE OF THE 4 PASSENGERS OF 2 FLIGHT CREW MEMBERS ON BOARD WERE INJURED. ACCORDING TO THE PILOT IN COMMAND, RUNWAY BRAKING ACTION WAS REPORTED AS NORMAL BY THE TOWER, BASED ON AN EVALUATION ACCOMPLISHED 1 HOUR PRIOR TO THE LANDING. SNOW WAS FALLING AT THE TIME OF THE LANDING AND THE PILOT WAS INFORMED THAT THE RUNWAY HAD NOT BEEN PLOWED. UPON LANDING, THE AIRCRAFT SLID OUT OF CONTROL ON ICE PRESENT ON THE RUNWAY. THE FLIGHT HAD ORIGINATED IN TULSA, OKLAHOMA (TUL), WITH THE FINAL DESTINATION AT ENGLEWOOD, COLORADO (APA). THE FLIGHT WAS BEING CONDUCTED AS A CORPORATE FLIGHT UNDER PART 91 OF THE FEDERAL AVIATION REGULATIONS INSTRUMENT METEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS PREVAILED AT THE TIME OF THE INCIDENT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
