## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON TUESDAY, DECEMBER 22,1998, AT 1038 EST, A CESSNA 402, N466IN, OWNED BY SUPERIOR AVIATION INC. EXPERIENCED LANDING GEAR EXTENSION PROBLEMS, THE PILOT WAS UNABLE TO GET AGEAR DOWN INDICATION. AFTER ONE RECYCLE ATTEMPT FAILED THE PILOT USED THE EMERGENCY GEAR EXTENSION PROCEDURES. THE PILOT WAS ABLE TO GET A DOWN AND LOCKED INDICATION ON THE NOSE AND LEFT MAIN GEAR. THE RIGHT MAIN GEAR HAD NO DOWN AND LOCK INDICATOR. ON LANDING ROLL OUT THE RIGHT MAIN LANDING GEAR COLLAPSED, WITH NO INJURIES AND MINOR DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
