## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON JANUARY 8, 1999, AT 0750, ASTRAL AVIATION (DBA SKYWAY AIRLINES) FLIGHT 1230, A BEECH 1900D, N891SK, TAXIED TO THE DE-ICE PAD AT MKE FOR DE-ICING PRIOR TO TAKE-OFF. UPON COMPLETION OF THE PROCESS THE CAPTAIN WAS GIVEN THE CLEAR SIGN VIA RADIO BY THE DE-ICE TRUCK DRIVER TO DEPART THE PAD. AS THE AIRCRAFT MOVED FORWARD THE LEFT WING TIP IMPACTED THE REAR OF THE TRUCK CAUSING MINOR DAMAGE. NO INJURIES WERE REPORTED AND ALL PAX WERE DEBOARDED AND EN-ROUTED TO DIFFERENT FLIGHTS.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
