## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-5)ON SATURDAY, JANUARY 9, 1999 AT 2230 EST, AN EMBRAER 110, N51BA, FLIGHT 323, OPERATED BY BENNINGTON AVIATION, REPORTED HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THE LANDING GEAR AFTER LANDING AT BUFFALO NIAGARA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT. THE AIRCRAFT TAXIED TO THE RAMP WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. THERE WERE NO INJURIES. THE MECHANIC FOUND THE LANDING GEAR UP-LOCK ROLLER FROZEN. THE MECHANIC CLEANED THE ICE FROM THE LANDING GEAR UP-LOCK ROLLER. AN OPERATIONAL CHECK WAS SATISFACTORY AND THE AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO SERVICE. THIS INCIDENT IS CONSIDERED CLOSED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
