## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) PILOT STATEMENT: AIRCRAFT HANDELED NORMALLY THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE FLIGHT. THE ONLY THING UNUSUAL ABOUT THE FLIGHT WAS A SLIGHT SHAKING OF THE INSTRUMENT PANEL, LAST 3-5 SECONDS DURING DESCENT INTO ENNIS. AIRSPEED AT THAT TIME WAS 180 MPH IAS+OR-15MPH AT MOST PLANE HANDLED NORMALLY BEFORE AND AFTER THAT EVENT.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB FTW99LA093](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/FTW99LA093), Jan 18, 1999: Beech G35 (N4662D), Ennis, TX, substantial damage. Probable cause: Flutter of the empennage for an undetermined reason, which resulted in damage to the aft fuselage.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
