## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT HAD JUST PURCHASED THIS AIRCRAFT IN LACROSSE, WI AND WAS FLYING IT HOME TO THE ANOKA COUNTY AIRPORT (MN). AIRCRAFT RAN OUT OF FUEL APPROX. 5 MILES FROM THE AIRPORT. AIRCRAFT LANDED ON THE FOOTBALL FIELD OF THE WHITE BEAR LAKE GOLF SCHOOL ANNEX. THE FIELD HAD APPROX. 8 INCHES OF SNOW ON IT. THE SNOW CAUSED THE AIRCRAFT TO FLIP OVER ON ITS BACK AFTER APPROX. 400 FEET OF ITS LANDING ROLLOUT. AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED VERY MINOR DAMAGE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
