## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AIRCRAFT WASENROUTE TO GCN FROM 61B PERFORMING A FAR 135 TOUR FLIGHT, WHEN ENGINE OIL PRESSURE AND ENGINE POWER WAS LOSS (ENGINE QUIT). THE ENGINE WILL BE TORN DOWN AND INSPECTED BY HTE MANUFACTURING AND A MALFUNCTION DEFECT REPORT (MDR) SUBMITTED. THIS ITEM CLOSED. ON FEBRUARY 18,1999, I DEPARTD BOULDER CITY IN A CESSNA TURBO 207. I WAS GOING TO THE CANYON DO DO A BLUE-2 TOUR. I HAD JUST CROSSED MT. WILSON SET THE PLANE UP FOR CRUSE FLIGHT AND CHECKED MY INSTRUMENTS, WHEN MY ENGINE CUT OUT AND STOPPED RUNNING. I LOOKED AT MY OIL PRESSURE GAUGE AND FUEL PRESSURE GAUGE AND THEY BOTH READ ZERO. I THEN TRIED TO RESTART THE ENGINE AND IT DID NOT WORK. I PITCHED FOR BEST GLIDE SPEED AND LOOKED FOR A PLACE TO SET THE PLANE DOWN. ALSO AT THIS TIME I RADIOED THE OTHER COMPANY PLANES IN THE AREA AND TOLD THEM OF MY CONDITION,WHERE I WAS, AND WHAT I WAS GOING TO DO. I SPOTTED A ROAD AND STARTED MY LAND PROCEDURES. I SCANNED THE ROAD AND SAW NO CARS, AND THEN I PROCEEDED TO LAND. AFTER TOUCH DOWN I EVACUATED THE PASSENGERS OUT OF THE AIRCRAFT AND GOT THEM AWAY FROM THE PLANE. THEN I SNSPECTED FOR FUEL AND OIL LEAKS AND FOUND NONE. I THEN RADIOED THE OTHER COMPANY PLANES AND TOLD THEM THAT WE WERE OKAY AND WAITED FOR THEM TO COME AND PICK US UP.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
