## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT STATED THAT HE MADE ILS APPROACH TO STS. HE MENTIONED THAT HE USUALLY LOWERS GEAR AND 10 DEGREES FLAPS AT OUTER MARKER. THIS TIME HE INDICATES THAT HE LOWERED FLAPS AND ADDS THAT HE OBVIOUSLY FORGOT TO LOWER GEAR, FOCUSING ON LOCALIZER AND GLIDE SLOPE. HE HAD THROTTLE BACK TO IDLE AND 40 DEGREES FLAPS ON LANDING, BUT DID NOT REMEMBER HEARING GEAR WARNING. IT IS HIS OPINION THAT HE APPARENTLY FORGOT TO FOLLOW HIS CHECK LIST.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
