## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

DURING LANDING ON RUNWAY 28L,AT MONTGOMERY FIELD (MYF), SAN DIEGO, CA; THE AIRCRAFT COUNCED ON THE INITIAL CONTACT WITH GROUND. THE SECOND TOUCHDOWN RESULTED IN THE NOSE TIRE DEPARTING THE AIRCRAFT. TIRE STRUCK LOWER INBOARD SECTION OF RIGHT WING CAUSING A SMALL 3 INCH HOLE. MINOR DAMAGE WAS ALSO NOTED IN THE NOSE GEAR STRUT AND DOOR. AIRCRAFT WAS AN EXPERIMENTAL/AMATEUR BUILT PRODUCT. THIS INCIDENT DID NOT INVOLVE A NMAC OR PILOT DEVIATION.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
