## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-5) CHALLENGER CL-604, N667LC, CREW WAS IN AIRCRAFT PERFORMING PRE-FLIGHT CHECK WHEN THEY FELT SUDDEN JARRING SENSATION (BUMP). THEY WONDERED IF THEY HAD BEEN STRUCK BY THE ADJACENT GULFSTREAM G-III, N100HG, BEGINNING TO TAXI TO DEPART THE RAMP. CHALLENGER CREW LOOKED OUTSIDE TO DISCOVER THAT, IN FACT, THEY HAD BEEN STRUCK BY THE G-III. APPROXIMATELY 6-7" OF THE CHALLENGER'S WINGLET HAD BEEN TORN LOOSE. CHALLENGER CREW RADIOED G-III ON GROUND CONTROL TO ADVISE OF THE MISHAP. G-III RETURNED TO RAMP.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
