## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-5) NWA702, UNDER TOW, WAS HOLDING EAST ON BRAVO SHORT OF PAPA. THE CONTROLLER INSTRUCTED THE CREW, "TAXI UP TO BUT HOLD SHORT OF RY25R." THE CREW'S REPLY, "HOLD SHORT OF RY25R, WAS INTERUPTED SO THE CONTROLLER REISSUED IT..AGAIN THE CREW READ BACK THE INSTRUCTION TO HOLD SHORT..THE CONTROLLER OBSERVED NWA 702 TOWING BEYOND THE HOLD BAR AND STATEDC "HOLD SHORT OF RY25R". THE CREW REPLIED THEY WOULD "HOLD HERE". THE CONTROLLER INFORMED THE CREW THEY WERE ALREADY ACROSS THE HOLD BARS SO HE CLEARED THEM TO CONTINUE ACROSS RY25R. THE BREAK MAN OPERATING THE RADIO, REPORTED THAT WHEN IT APPEARED THE TUG DRIVER WAS NOT GOING TO STOP, HE CALL-ED DOWN TO HIM THREE TIMES BUT THEY CONTINUED PAST THE HOLD BARS.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
