## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON MARCH 28, 1999, COMMANDER 680FL, N114MN, JDWA FLIGHT 415, EXPERIENCED A BRIEF LOSS OF HYDRAULIC POWER WHILE ENROUTE FROM MOLINE, IL, TO CEDAR RAPIDS, IA. THE PIC ELECTED TO DIVERT TO WATERLOO, IA, DUE TO CROSSWINDS AND WET RUNWAY CONDITIONS. HYDRAULIC PRESSURE WAS RESTORED WHEN THE PIC LOWERED THE LANDING GEAR. THE AIRCRAFT DEPARTED WATERLOO ON APRIL 12, 1999, UNDER AN AIRCRAFT FERRY PERMIT AND LANDED IN OMAHA, NE, WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. SUBSEQUENT INVESTIGATION FAILED TO DETERMINE THE CAUSE OF HYDRAULIC SYSTEM PRESSURE DROP. THE HYDRAULIC REGULATOR, P/N 4790230, WAS REPLACED AS A PRECAUTIONARY MEASURE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
