## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON MARCH 31, 1999 N511DB A BOEING 727-89 OPERATED BY LAKER AIRWAYS EXPERIENCED A POWER LOSS IN THE #1 ENGINE WHILE ENROUTE. THE ENGINE WAS SECURED. AN EMERGENCY WAS DECLARED AND THE ACFT LANDED AT IND WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL FOUND FUEL LEAKING FROM A FUEL LINE CONNECTION AT THE PRESSURIZING AND DUMP VALVE INLET. A SDR WAS SUBMITTED BY THE COMPANY AS REQUIRED BY THE REGULATIONS. THIS INCIDENT IS CLOSED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
