## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AIRCRAFT WHEEL CAUGHT IN SOFT SPOT ON RUNWAY ON ATTEMPTED TAKE-OFF. AIRCRAFT NOSED OVER DAMAGING PROPELLER BLADES (3) AND THEN FELL BACK ONTO TAIL WHEEL. DAMAGE TO TAIL WHEEL REPORTED. ENGINE AND PROPELLER REMOVED AND SENT TO REPAIR STATION FOR REPAIRS. OPERATOR WILL REPORT FULL EXTENT OF DAMAGE ONCE ASSESSMENT IS DONE. I SPOKE WITH OPERATOR ON 4/12/99. THERE WAS NO OTHER DAMAGE TO AIRCRAFT. ENGINE AND PROPELLER WERE REPAIRED, REINSTALLED AND AIRCRAFT IS NOW OPERATIONAL.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
