## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

DURING THE TAKEOFF ROLL, AT APPROXIMATELY 80 TO 90 KNOTS, THE AIRCRAFT MASTER CAUTION ANNUNICATOR AND ECAM MESSAGE ILLUMINATED INDICATING, "AUTO BRAKE INOPERATIVE". THE AIRCRAFT CONTINUED THE TAKEOFF AND TO ITS PLANNED DESIGNATION. UPON LANDING, THE CAPTAIN ATTEMPTED MANUAL BRAKING, WHICH RESULTED IN NO BRAKE RESPONSE. THE CAPTAIN THEN CYCLED THE NOST WHEEL STEERING/ANTI-SKID SWITCH ON AND THEN OFF. THIS RESULTED IN THE AIRCRAFT BRAKES LOCKING UP AND CAUSING THE MAIN LANDING GEAR NUMBER 2, 3, AND 4 TIRES TO BLOW OUT AS THE AIRCRAFT SKIDED TO A STOP ON THE RUNWAY. FURTHER INVESTIGATION TO DETERMINE THE CAUSE OF THE AUTO BRAKE SYSTEM FAILURE (BRAKE STEERING CONTROL UNIT) IS IN PROGRESS. THE AIRCRAFT BRAKE SELECTOR VALVE WAS REPLACED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
