## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ACFT HAD TOTAL ELECTRICAL FAILURE AFTER TAKEOFF. PILOT WAS UNABLE TO RESTORE ELECTRICAL PROBLEM. THE PILOT COULD NOT MANUALLY EXTEND THE LANDING GEAR. THE PILOT ELECTED TO CLIMB TO ALTITUDE AND ALLOW THE PARACHUTIST OUT. HE ALSO FLEW AROUND FOR APPROX. 40 MINUTES TO BURN OFF THE MAJORITY OF FUEL. PILOT LANDED THE AIRPLANE GEAR UP. AFTER A CONVERSATION WITH THE PILOT, IT WAS DETERMINED HE WAS KNOWLEDGEABLE OF THE EMERGENCY LANDING GEAR OPERATION SYSTEMS AND PROCEDURES. HE TRIED SEVERAL ATTEMPTS TO ENGAGE AND MANUALLY LOWER THE LANDING GEAR WITH THE MANUAL EXTENSION PROCEDURES. AT THIS TIME THE CAUSE OF WHY THE LANDING GEAR DID NOT LOWER MANUALLY IS UNDETERMINED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
