## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PILOT REPORTED THAT UPON LOWERING THE LANDING GEAR A "CLUNK" WAS HEARD. THE EMERGENCY EXTENSION PROCEDURES WERE COMPLIED WITH. SEVERAL FLYBYS OF THE AIRPORT WERE ACCOMPLISHED. IT WAS REPORTED BY GROUND PERSONNEL THAT ALL THREE LANDING GEARS WERE DOWN. THE AIRCRAFT WAS LANDED AND DURING ROLLOUT THE LEFT MAIN LANDING GEAR FOLDED. DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT WAS LIMITED TO THE LEFT ENGINE PROPELLER, LEFT LANDING GEAR AND LEFT LANDING GEAR INBOARD DOOR. MAINTANANCE PERSONNEL HAVE INSTALLED A BRACE ON THE LEFT LANDING GEAR. FINAL DETERMINATION OF THE CAUSE WILL BE ACCOMPLISHED BY EITHER U.S. OR CANADIAN MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL. A U.S. M OR D REPORT WILL BE SUBMITTED BY THE U.S. MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
